Enter Uganda through Entebbe International Airport and you will be warmly received at the visitors’ lounge by a representative from AAB Tours and Travel. He will then take you to Kampala Serena Hotel or Holiday Express Hotel for your overnight and dinner.

Day 1: DRIVE TO SEMLIKI NATIONAL PARK

After a fantastic breakfast, drive to Semliki National Park going down to the eastern side of Lake Albert. Situated in the western Rift valley basin, Semliki National Park is among the Uganda National Parks with extensive Riparian forests and rain forests with short and high grass Savannah. It is also well-known for its night game drives that offer you with nocturnal animals like the white tailed mongoose and slender mongoose, standard and pennant winged nightjars, cats, hyenas and leopards to mention. Semliki is the only place in Uganda where you can do a spot lit nighttime game drive. The park by and large offers plenty of surprises as you may not know what you might come across. Overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge or Kanyankyu Ecological site.

Day 2: SEMLIKI CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
Have a cup of tea before heading to the stunning rain-forest for wild chimpanzee tracking. Chimpanzees are habitually tracked at the crack of dawn or sunset due to the fact that they tend to vanish in the course of the day. There are also a number of bird species which are found in this charming forest. After an excellent chimpanzee walk, you relax in the afternoon at the pool or go for game drives while you watch the sun plunging. Have the meals and spend the night at Semliki Safari Lodge or Kanyankyu Ecological Site.

Day 3: SEMLIKI GAME DRIVE, HEAD OFF FOR QUEEN ELIZABETH NP
Game drive en-route from Semliki National a park. The journey will take you through the attractive green countryside eventually ascending the Western Rift Valley to Fort Portal. You will then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach in the late afternoon and proceed for a nature walk around the Mweya Peninsula where you spot game like the Uganda Kob, bush pigs, bush bucks, colobus monkeys and many others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 4: WILDLIFE SAFARI AND CHIMPS TRACKING

Get your breakfast and go for a forest walk in the Kyambura gorge to trek the chimps and other primates. You may go for a walk in the Maramagambo forest to pursue primates. You will retreat from the walk for lunch at the lodge and then go for a launch cruise in the afternoon. This boat trip will furnish you a fascinating watch of games like hippos, buffaloes and many water birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology.

Day 5: GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

Early in the morning prior to dawn, you will wake up for a game drive in the Kasenyi section of the park to catch a sight of the early risers and predators disappearing to their hide outs. Retire from the game drive for late breakfast and drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You arrive in midday hours and check in at Gorilla Resort or Volcanoes Bwindi. After lunch at the lodge, you will take a rest or move around in the nearby areas awaiting for your dinner and overnight at the lodge with high hope the next day’s activity, ‘Gorilla Tracking’.

It is marvelous to sit in the forest among the gorillas, look intently at them complain to each other. It is an extraordinary atmosphere being with these eye-catching human-like animals. Time permitted with these primates is only 1 hour in which every minute counts greatly. With a free afternoon you can alternatively take a guided walk out on the Munyaga River trail that leads to three pleasant clean waterfalls with views of epiphytic ferns, tree ferns and orchid’s colorful butterflies. You may also have a guided village hike to see how the locals live. Overnight at Gorilla Resort, Buhoma Community Bandas (FB).
